Chase

Well, the Chase Corporate Challenge is over. Unless you are at the front of the pack, don't expect a real race! 22,000 plus people going around a hairpin turn is just not feasible. I got stuck behind walkers, ended up sprinting around them when possible, running over the jagged rocks on the Columbus Drive median, and managed only a 29:00 finish - gun time. I have no idea of actual time but expect it to be 28 something, since the start line was not marked! Come on folks, draw a chalk line or something! Anyway, it was cool hanging around the few folks I knew from GE. Most were from the downtown office. Food was awesome - I took some grilled chicken home with me on the el.
